either use Ctrl+I to trigger random party conversations (including romance) or use the appropriate CLUAcommand

The Jaheira Romance is extremely buggy even in patched versions.

www.sorcerers.net to get some understanding of the variables (but be careful not to spoil yourself with the walkthrough.
