Hehe... I like Fire Storm too. I had a lot of fun with it when I was soloing a Sorcerer.
I remember how the Spell Reference Guide once listed it as mediorce because they did not know it ignored Magic Resistance.
Drow might make good cooking with Fire Storm... but certain creatures with 100% Magic Resistance and zilch Fire Resistance will make you cackle with glee later on.
