Well, I started a Solo Swashbuckler a few days ago (My first attempt at soloing, btw) and I must say it's been great fun, especially when soloing large groups of enemies (Mencar and his lot, Draug Fea and his). Yesterday I decided I would attempt an assault on a certain extrademensional penetentiary to secure a certain brand of magical footwear (cough). Anyway, to my great discontent and realization, even a mere Lesser Fire Elemental seemed to be immune to my meager Katana +1s. So, I left the Bridge District, fought random things until I leveled up, put a slot into Long swords, grabbed the Blade of Roses, headed over towards the guarded compound, took a deep breath, and entered.
I remembered from past experiences that the summons/gates in the entrance hall proved to be even more challenging than their summoners, so I proceeded with caution (hidden in shadows, of course). As soon as I saw the first inkling of a summon I ran as fast as I could for the door. To my utter bemusement, however, none of them followed me (I was planning on luring out the Glabrezu) but instead all began attacking the only hostile
visible creature in the area: Mr. Glabrezu. I cackled with delight (hidden in secure corner of the building) as he slaughtered all the other summons and then stood there in 'Injured' status.
So I made it out of the summons with nary a scratch. Just wanted to share this little bit with all of you
Now I have run into another problem. The potion of Freedom that I procured from Ribald was the difference between reloading 5 seconds into the following battle (from Celestial Fury and Sion's incessant Power Word: Stun-ing) and owning them without stopping to heal. Now I believe I am spoiled and can't find another one. Are there any more potions of Freedom I can buy? If so, where?
