It might be a little cheesy, but I just use Valygar - hide in shadows, with boots of haste, big spear in hand. Takes a hit on the golem, runs away out of sight, golem gets stuck in door. Repeat ad nauseum. Takes a little time, but gets the job done and avoids that damn cloud that the golem produces. No body else is even needed in that fight.
