"Jakobar" can also be gleaned (and more quickly) simply by having a bit of a chin-wag with his cousin, Kylie.

Not if the family itself can't keep its own name straight: Compare the Description of Nalia's Ring with the name of her Keep, and other places where it crops up. Slight spelling variations abound, which is a perfectly natural result in gradual language changes over time. I took advantage of this when I designed the Delryn Family Helmet for LennonCook: I spelled the name of Anomen's ancestor "d'Elrynn," thus tossing in connotative links to Myth Rynn and the de'Arnise style of surnames.
