I've really been enjoying the tanking ability of this party, but am willing to give up minsc if i have to in order to retain edwin. I just prefer having six people, for the character interaction as well as the damage dealing - im going to miss what minsc's capable of, especially in the underdark.

You can lose Minsc, Korgan is a better fighter than Minsc is. However, remember to take all of Minsc's equipment off and give it to you before you kick him out
