Well, every
unique Neutral, at any rate: If one Commoner has a specific item, then every
other Commoner of that type has it as well. As for it not being part of a 'normal' walk through the game, what's so 'abnormal' about a Thief or Bard with a high Pick Pockets score running around robbing people? And hey, the very essence of a
trivia quiz is to ask
trivial questions.
But I do see your point, so I'll go easy on you and spill the beans. Go stand right next to Wirt, and Save your game. Then, open the menu and say "New Game." In the New Game screen, Load your saved game. Bam, you're right back where you were--all your stuff is right where you left it, the dungeons are unchanged, but everybody in Town has a new Inventory. Have fun!
