I got the keep with that mod -- but I think I was playing a fighter anyway at the time. It's a WeiDu mod, so I think you can reinstall the mod mid-game and reload. Also, there is a strongholds variable in the global variables. You can use ShadowKeeper to change that -- hmmm... that would only work to mark you as having no stronghold, though, and probably wouldn't help here.
