I'm aware that in the normal version, the lone Imprisonment is dished out by a rogue Elder Orb, but since the Improved version sports about a
dozen Elder Orbs, and none of them attempted to cast it, I feel safe in saying that no Improved Beholderkin cast Imprisonment--although the Hive Mother was the only one that lasted long enough.
Yes, I believe all Beholders get Improved--even Gauths.
- Warrior's THAC0
- Poison Damage (Save vs. Death for none) with each hit
- Will not use their rays on characters carrying the Shield of Balduran
- Hive Mother gets hacked all to hell
And they
still have their collective ass handed to them by a single Level 4 spell.
The weird thing about the Hive Mother's infinite Heals is that they're not really
Heals--It will bring her from Near Death back up to Injured, but not all the way to 100% health. Funky.
