I'm playing unpatched BG2 - SoA with my gf and we come across a few annoying MP bugs, and we wonder if this illustrious community knows of any workarounds
On the host/server machine: The "pause on dialog" option is reset every now and then, seemingly at random (I want the bloody thing to be activated
). Is it possible to change the default setting by meddling with a file or anything?
On the client machine: The character's scripts are reset to "none" every now and then, also seemingly at random. This bug also persisted in fully patched BG I TOTSC.
Other oddities: If we set "restrict stores" the neat effect is that we cant enter stores at all. Luckily we dont really need that option to be set... It is also a bit odd that only the CLIENT can initate rest (the party leader char is obviously on the host machine). I have all permissions set for both players, including "leader".
