The thread Xen posted (which I was thinking about as well.. damn you Xen for making that post before I could [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/troutslap.gif[/img] ) is an old one, but Dundee Slaytern has a thread at the top of the first page entitled "Classic Threads". You can find it there as well, along with other famous, handy and funny threads made in the past.
This includes the 'Evil Denizens of the Underdark' thread IIRC, something you may like as well.
