Everbody keeps complaining about the weapons being to overpowered and yet everybody also keeps on rolling the dice until they get the highest possible stats without cheating. Someone who has 18/18/18/18/18/3 as stats will be overpowered, even with a dagger-2. Stats represent the mental and physical prowess an adventurer has while the weapons are tools the adventurer uses. The weapons are often powered up by celestial beings or great/heroic men/women in the history of Faerûn. Sure, you are a bhaalspawn and during the progression of the story you become quite powerful, but your heritage is shown in the special abilities you posess and the changes you undergo and not in ridiculous stats like those aforementioned.

In other words: the weapons are just fine and the HackMaster+12 isn't a serieus intended weapon in the first place, so......
