I don't think there are any stronghold quests you can do incorrectly.Sure, there are ways you CAN'T get a stronghold...but unless you don't finish the stronghold quest, there's no way to render one totally FUBAR.

IIRC it's possible to screw up the Figher Stronghold to the point where you lose it.
