yup. fully patched with the latest and greatest. I'm only running SoA, seeing as how i never got around to buying ToB. i do have the bonus merchants patch though.

are you suggesting that resting AFTER using the CLUA console command will help? Hmm... i'll have to try it.
Sadly, it was towards the beginning of the game when we first had our interaction, and I did reject his offer. I'm running of Win98 because it seems to run better on my pc than WinXp. I was wondering if there was any other sort of CLUA command that could be given to reset his mood, because the one I entered didn't seem to do the trick. even after entering it, i still get the red message, "Jan has nothing to say to you". I guess my might just have to play through the game....again.....oh darn ;]
