Yeah, advancing to level 2 would be an option, although I'm not certain that would relieve me of any problems; the resting option isn't good, because shadow thieves (two of them) keep spawning. I can kill them, of course, but that takes a lot of my spells (and vampiric touch which is quite effective against them).
I need to be full powered when facing the Mephit Portals (I think) so I need some luck/way to rest safely.
This is just too hard!
