Surly you are suffering on a high level here.
In my opinion reduced spell
casting time is better than more spell on higher levels since you always have the
PI+Wish spell combo. And sorcerer have a *lot* of spell slots, anyway.
I would keep the amulet for the first couple of levels and then switch once you have reached, say level 20.
