Okay okay i read the LotR in - first - the englisch versions, and later on both german versions original und new translation.
In my opinion the original translation is quiet near the english one, but the new translation is an insult for every fan (Nein, nicht Ventilator!).
Sam calls Frodo "Chef" or "Boss" something like "boss" or "dude". In one situation his feelings are discriped somewhat like "he felt like being hit form a locomotive". ??? I ask myself why the hell they walked the whole way, and didnīt took the train "Bree - Minas Morgul" ?
