Second off, if you're trying to play the game with as few spoilers as possible, you might want to read this site first instead of poking around on the forum. Not only does it explain more about the D&D and roleplaying world than the manual (you HAVE read the manual, right? ), but it's 98% spoiler-free. We're a well-intentioned bunch, but sometimes we answer more than what you're asking.
Yeah, I have the manual! I bought the game ages ago cos it looked really interesting, but haven't managed to get round to playing it!

What better place to learn more about the governing body of Athkatla than the city's own Government District?
Don't I have to give their acorns to the fairy queen? How do you get her location added to your map, or am I asking the question that you just answered?

Romances happen with certain NPCs, and are NPC-initiated, meaning that a party member will start romance dialogues by talking to you. You'll know a LoveTalk (the name for the romance dialogues) by the sound of it--each LT has character-specific theme music playing in the background. How do you know if an NPC is romancable or not? If you haven't seen or heard a LoveTalk within 7-8 game days of taking the person into your party, then they're not romancable. (If you have two or more romancable NPCs in your party, you're eventually going to have to choose between them, because they won't let up until you make your choice. )
I think I know which music you mean. Does this mean that I have to give the right answers? What are the advantages/disadvantages to being in a romance?
