1. Which quests did you do for the thieves? Only the guild or did you already bargain over a new price with Gaelan?
2. Either Valen's or Gaelan's quest will stay open until the end of the game (can't change that sorry) depending on which you choose.
3. You can do certain things for the thieves. The quests for Renal and Mae'Var are okay. But once you get to the the greenly clad guy (spoiler Shadowmaster Aran Linvail) you cannot do the Bodhi quests (spoiler as this would include killing Aran while his quests include killing Bodhi)
