Well, Friday evening this began, and we rushed him to the 24hr Emergency Pet Clinic, and the did Xrays, and he has no crystals or any obstructions in the urinary pathway, but may just have a urinary infection.
So they gave him a 10 day antibacterial shot.. should heal it.
ANYONE else had a cat or dog that had this?? and the went pee, and it was pink and/or normal at times? scares me, as he's 21... I would be crushed if he died, but kinda know 'that time is coming', but don't think about it.
just scared.. He's eating and drinking fine, cleaning himself, and begging for treats during this, so I guess that's good..
If he doesn't have improvemet in a few days or whenever I see he needs help, I'd take him back up there. he keeps trying to drip pee/blood on the tile.. ugh.. keeping him on old blankets and warm.
hate seeing him hurt.
