I've found an even easier way to beat dragons like Firkraag, and it removes none of the difficulty or quality of the game.
Basically, go into the character file of BGII with ShadowKeeper, and edit Firkraag's maximum health points to 1, give yourself carsomyr +5, and make everyone 20 levels more than what they are now.
Then, laugh as you slaughter Firkraag like a kobold.
