Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
I went to Walmart at 4am, thinking I'd be one of the few go-getters to brave the cold and rain during the god-forsaken hours of the morning. Only to be greeted by throngs of people milling about in shorts and t-shirts who have been there since last night (when it was warm). There were lines upon lines, waiting for the electronics aisle to open at 5am so they could get $100 off a flat screen TV. As I walked back to the carpark, I noticed people were sleeping in their cars in the darkness! I thought, wtf? All this for a good deal? Too much.
Luckily, I got a car vacuum for $20 (worth $75), and a carpet cleaner for $25 (worth $100), some shirts for $7 ($20), and got the fook outta dodge. But I was in and out within 15 mins cuz I had already picked what I was gonna buy beforehand and everything I wanted did not require me camping out for the night.
