Hey, the best character is always the one you want to play. And one of the best ways to get into your character is to have a strong concept right from the start. Sounds like you have a good vision of what your character should be, so you'll definitely enjoy.

Yeah, the club is all but worthless in a group (unless you have ridiculous amounts of fire resistance on all of the people), but solo it will help clear rooms pretty quick.
