I had a pretty confusing conversation with my mum today.
Mum - I like Zoril (my boyfriend).
Me - Me too.
Mum - I'm glad, I'd be worried if you didn't considering you've been with him, what, two and a half years?
Me - About that, yeah.
Mum - Aah, young love... I was with your dad for less time than that before we got married, you know.
*Me with a slightly confused expression*
Mum - Not that I'm saying you should get married.
Me - Err, I'm a student. I'm poor. It's not going to happen.
Mum - Oh.... Okay then. Pity.
*silence*
Mum - Have you thought about the future? You know, marrying him and having kids?
Me - ..... We agreed we'd like to get llamas.
Apparantly that wasn't the response she was expecting. I then managed to get her onto the subject of which would be better, llamas or alpacas.
I'm still confused about if she wants me to get married though...
I'd rather have alpacas than kids though. You can make some money off them at least by selling the wool.
