The Mage that is commonly alleged to be a source for a Neutral Archmagi Robe (Degardan, only accessible through Edwin's quest) may indeed be wearing such a Robe, but if so, it's marked as Undroppable, because I went over that corpse with a fine-toothed comb and found nothing of the sort. The Blacksmith's shop in Trademeet does indeed stock an Archmagi Robe, but it's been Good in all of my games--it would have been nice if the game had scripted the Robe to match the alignment of the PC.

Archmagi Robe chronology:
Good--rather early in SoA
Evil--very late in SoA
Good, Neutral, Evil (1 each)--very early in ToB
Good--roughly midway through ToB
