Default 135TH Kentucky Derby

I don't get into all of the hoopla about the derby, and the endless days and nights of pre-derby celebrations. Heck, I don't care about all of the people and the money they spend, it is all about the horses after all. And horses that cost millions of dollars with fancy names which needs three days to practice to say correctly on race day. Just for a chance to win a wreath of flowers!

But, I do know a few things about people, and if Calvin is on a horse that is where I bet. He blew out yesterday with a few wins, and a large win for "The Oaks". But today, reminiscent of two years ago, coming from the back on the inside rail, Calvin took a "poor man's" horse to the roses!

HOOAH, to Mine That Bird and to Calvin, the patient jockey!

P.S. 50-1 odds!
