I have to go with Cerek. You have to face the guy in the mirror in the mornings... if he's fine with it, so be it.

I had to do something similar years ago. Was moving out of an apartment and knew I hadn't made the last rent payment. Went to talk to the apartment complex about it, and they told me that since their computers thought I'd paid, they had no reason to pursue.

I sleep much easier for it.
