That and the fact that all these threads, for reasons we have already discussed, seem to deteriorate into personal or veiled insults and eventually, a plain old pissing contest. On a Blog these comments could be moderated, curtailed or even blocked. And the blog creater is in total control of who says what and how they say it.
It was a suggestion is all. Or, perhaps he could do like a weekly thread (even daily), but have all his stories/commentary in that thread, where people can reply to a multitude of points carried within it. I am sure this way he will get more replies too!

Here is where you differ from me. I don't need Post counts, or attention, or stimulation. My satisfaction is achieved by seeing how you (D) squirm.
Most people don't post because; they hear it on the radio, see it on TV, then come here, and I have kept them up to date. They are ready to go lie down somewhere and contemplate on how they allowed this to happen, and what is it going to take to fix it. Which by the way, we can start to fix it in two years when we go to the polls in '10.
You think I'm mad at you, Luvian thought I was a sore loser, and mad at many, where truth to be, is quite the contrary. I'm here showing the irrevocable truth, providing links to said statements, and antagonizing the (D) camp with their self proclaimed "Messiah" of a statesman. With BHO doing such a good job of helping me out, there is very little room for counter point here.
And that is why you want me to depart, so you can have a moment of peace and quiet, which will not happen for the next couple of years.
