Well, the problem with detailled pseudo-3D objects is that one may also expect to see important items in the 3D-view window.
E.g., if an important key shall by lying... er... (is "lying" correct?

) on the table, with this level of detail, one would not be satisfied with an explaining text describing the situation, but expect to see the key in the 3D-view window until the key is removed...
