Could be labour relations. What does it say in the policy manuals about what you're doing? That will be your benchmark. If it says "Don't do what you're doing", you're toast

But if it doesn't address anything specifically, then part of what you'd want to address is whether it's being applied to everyone, or if you're being singled out.
If you're being singled out, then they are tinkering with offending on one of the "isms" and could end up in the wrong. A simple question of "well, if you're reprimanding me, are you reprimanding everyone who does this?" can go a long way.
Bottom line, in many ways... are you hitting your numbers? Knowing that you're in sales there, hitting your numbers causes forgiveness of many, many sins. Failure to hit them creates new sins you never knew about before
