I think that's quite difficult to say... The eurypteride is more closely related to trilobites and spiders then to the crayfish, but nevertheless, may have been similar to the crayfish in behavior. (And armor/attack statistics may also fit quite well...)

Definitely. Which shows again that even the weirdest horror fantasies may have already been anticipated by nature...
There have also been marsupial "Saber-Tooth-Cats" in Australia.
