Likely, this was done in retaliation for this, Sarah Palin hung in effigy from the peak of a home in southern California.

This is nuts. Really. I can't speak for anyone else when I say that, sure, fine, you have the right to make displays of how you feel, but what kind of person wants the message to be that they would rather the person be dead than in office?

I heard about both on the radio this afternoon before work, and then saw pictures this evening on the local news, and, I've just gotten more disgusted by the hour.

EDIT:Also forgot to mention that the effigy in question was hung by noose just yards from our Martin Luther King Jr. Heritage Center.

I hope the culprits get to be interviewed by the Secret Service on this one---it would serve them right.
