Default Testing DC in Wine for Linux users.

Any Linux users here? I recently began the transition to Linux. I'm using it right now. I checked the compatibility listing over at the Wine site and saw nothing about DC or FRUA though I did see a gold box game or two mentioned. [Not viewing it right now so I can't be sure about that]. Anyway, I'm going to be testing it out shortly and will report back my results. Just wanted to check if this has been tried yet or not. I'd also like to see about porting DC to Linux. I'd like to trying compiling it from the source in Linux somehow so it could execute from within Linux as a native application. Is this possible?

Edit: I've done a bit of research on this and it seems that there is no easy way of converting DirectX 7 SDK source code to something that can be compiled in and thus ported to Unix based OS's. There is however both interest and activity in that direction. There is a project at the Wine HQ site focused on this very thing. Check out the info on winelib and winemaker. Scroll down to see which apps have been ported or are being ported currently. Sourceforge is like a treasure trove of projects just waiting to be ported to Unix based systems by interested parties using the winelib.
