As to complex - how complex is complex? This game has more twists than any other game I've DMed with the notable exception of a couple (on another board). They're just... not obvious unless you know what to look for. Simply because certain characters haven't displayed their full... background, doesn't make them shallow; quite the opposite. Retaining an air of mystery is one of the things I like most about this game.
