Back on topic, there are huge differences between the two races. Cause they are indeed two different races, and they loathe eachother so much that they regularily attack on sight.
A Werewolf is indeed a lycanthrope, or a man who changes to a humanoid wolf when it's full moon.
A Wolfwere, on the other hand, is sort of a shapeshifting wolf. It's regular form is a large wolf, hence why it is know as a Wolfwere.
