If you don't like it, don't buy the product being advertised that offends you. It's the only way to change something like that.
If it's proven that loudness gets notice and sells a product, that's what they'll do. If it's proven that the same thing hurts sales, you'd find it stop.

Well, it's only really annoying when the show is otherwise low-key. The sudden shift could wake the dead, it seems, but I suppose the advertizers are not to blame for that.
