I'm a big fan o mages and they are me fav character and i saw being one of them in BG 1 as a challenge as u start out so weak and vulnerable but as the game progresses you accumulate more and more power. I thought that Black Isle presented the mage really well in BG 1 as the player needs dedication and lots of skill to master this difficult art. I agree that saving and reloading games repeatedly is not in the spirit of the game, but is there anyway of preventing this happening ingame? Restricing the save options inside the game in my opinion would adversly affect the gameplay.
