You hear two loud as hell sonic booms!
I forgot Discovery was landing this morning, and when I heard it, I ran to see it land on TV. I know the sound well.. Its louder than thunder... shakes the windows, and feels like a truck hit your house. lol... crazy..
I can't believe we are going back to an Apollo type vehicle next.. to me, that's going back, not forward. I understand the need to use a module like this for landing on the moon, but as a transport module/ship... blah. I wish they didn't kill the X-33... It had design and other issues, but hell, I'm sure the shuttle did as it was being developed.
Anyone hear it come in? (Florida, maybe Georgia members?)
