I attended Brown College in Brooklyn Park, MN.

There are a few other really good schools out there. Just find one that teaches a variety of game design aspects. Some "game schools" only teach modeling/texturing or animating. Brown College taught me everything about game design from concept to completion. I choose to specialize in high-level programming (game programming aka scripting). Basically, I write the code that makes a game work. I use code written by the "real" programmers who only write game engines and never get to actually make a real game. I use their engine code, write my own game code, and voila! Video game heaven!
