Well, sorry, this thread is old, I know. Just wanted to say that Saxx is an awesome character. His blues-voice is just "sweet to the ear" to listen, and I don't even care if he is whining, because his whining-lines are actually kind of funny.
Took him with me all through Rapax Castle, and I definitly know now that the Castle is not a venue for musicians, but he still saved my life with his instruments, despite the -20.
The most funny introduction I found from him was entering the Swamp. Don't remember it completely, but it was something like: "This place reminds me of a blues song. It is a swamp: Dark, lonely, and sorry for itself." Or something like that.
