The short answer is No.

The bastard swords on offer are +9 or +10.

But they are fun.

Blade of the Gods, Brandmark, etc will extend your graphics.

I'm still trying to work out a Chaotic Evil build to use a bastard sword I picked up in the Christmas gift rush.
