The History channel has a recent series titled "Gangland", which each episode features a different gang's history and background. The mere idea of any of these violent thugs "defending" me and my nation makes me want to puke.

LOL at some lifelong banger learning anything that would cause them to betray the gang code. The military has nothing on being tortured and killed by your fellow gang memebers when you try and quit the gang. It wouldn't suprise me if gang higher-ups encourage the younger members to join for training to kill and opportunity to steal weapons.
