No it won't.
What browser are you using. In Firefox it's Tools->Clear private data, then make sure "saved form and search history" is checked and click ok. Or you can disable this altogether by going to Tools->Options and Privacy tab and clearing check next to "remeber what I enter in forms and search bar".
I don't use IE7 much but it's there also in Tools-> Internet options
Or as an alternative you can go and search for porn. Lots of it. Amidst it all your wife wouldn't notice the few sites where you got the presents.
