As I said, BG has a bug with the uninstall.
You can CLUA sola the same as any other creature, but and take him into your party with ctrl-Q (I think), but it wont be anything like the Sola mod is.
If youve installed the latest ToB patch and the bladurdash fixpacks, the mod should be safe enough to install. I've never seen it screw up majorly on a clean install twice consecutively.
