I do alot of archery, not competitions but actual hunting. And i've got my baby, handmade 6 foot longbow
. I'm so right handed now you can notice my right shoulder is bigger than my left. I've hunted everything from p(h)easants to boar and deer, up close nothing can stand the power of a long bow coupled with modern day hunting arrows.
But ye get practising, once you have the strength to hold your draw then the accuracy comes. So go with a practise bow for the practise but get your self an olde style wood bow so you can try it occasionally to see how your trainings going.
