You enjoy a few quiet moments, but suddenly the lights die completely. A few minutes later, you hear the elevator doors open and find yourself briefly blinded by the ray of a flashlight. Next, you see an unfamiliar Tech climb out of the shaft.

He stops talking mid-sentance and clutches his chest, then collapses to the ground. (Dexiterity Roll - Pass) Only your superb. reflexes save you from suffering a similar fate. In a glimpse, you see the brief flash of a weapon from the dark. You immediately drop to the ground, and manage to dodge whatever was fired at you.
