SpongeBob: A gnomish cleric/thief can be a juggernaut of destruction. Just ask Butterfingers or Lemmy.
I don't like Valygar the way he is right now, and praise be to LennonCook for his NPC fix mods. The only reason I can figure he's a
stalker of all things is his racial enemy: golems. If anyone's done Valygar's quest, you probably know how much that might come in handy.
Once Mr. Corthala becomes the Wizard Slayer he was meant to be, then maybe he'd work for an anti-magic party.

I think it'd be fun to take a 5 male/1 female pirate party to Brynnlaw, then update their personal biographies to mention their "encounters" with Cayia and wild drunken revelry with the Vulgar Monkey pirates. But that's just me. (BTW, anyone notice that the Vulgar Monkey pirates in BG2 are the city of Baldur's Gate's sailor bar sailors from BG1?)
