This would explain the dizziness (since they are connected to the ears) and the feeling of suffocation you are having (especially when laying on your back). Neck stiffness is often a sign too, mainly because of the extra "weight" in your head. It's a sinking feeling, like your nose is collapsing into your face, lol. Get yourself some Psuedophedrine before hitting the doc and see if it improves. If you have some red Cayenne pepper at home that will help also.
