A professional party-pooper on the news pointed out that the cat was probably attracted to the rooms with their dimmed lighting, and incense that the care-home used for comforting patients who were on "death's doorstep" as it were.
But I'd like to think the cat had funky special powers. Or that perhaps, in a similar way to Endcat, he is taking the lives of the patients.
