My biggest problem with the monitor is this. The blue light behind the on/off switch is really annoying when wanting to sit back in the dark and watch a movie because it is so bright. I don't notice it so much when an average amount of light is on in the room and I am sitting here at the keys, but if I sit back to watch a DVD, that light is glaring at me. I will probably take a piece of black electric tape and hang over the button, folding the sticky side in on itself so only it's just holding itself up at the top, and that will at least get that light out of the way.

I am still working on brightness and contrast and all the other little modes that I cam change to adjust things to my liking. I amd debating on whether or not to mess with the settings from the monitor's controls or the vid card because on the vid card, I THINK I can adjust the settings differently depending on what is being displayed, like movies can have a higher brightness than net surfing. I wish this purchase came with a one hour free pro that would come and adjust the settings to optimal for lazies like me.

Oh...another thing that annoys me about this Samsung. The monitor housing is polished black, but the bottom of the monitor has a silver streak about a half-inch depth. I guess they did that so as to read the control options at the right, but it's still annoying that it is not all black...but I am being overly picky.

Oh, by the way...NO dead pixels...just in case you were wondering.
